话说也是眼不见为净。记得那时候在艺园的面条里吃出苍蝇；其他食堂里时不时吃到什么毛发金属丝。。。我大学以前的洁癖被活活治愈了。

 

March 27， 2009 Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has filed charges against Wei-Chuan USA Inc. and its director, Stephen Chen, claiming the Asian specialty foods wholesaler violated the Texas Health and Safety Code.

Abbott’s office is citing Wei-Chuan, which has its Great Eastern Branch Co. subsidiary in Houston, following an investigation by the Texas Department of State Health Services. DSHS reported the company to the attorney general’s office after the company failed to comply with the health code.

Last October, the DSHS inspectors issued an emergency order citing Wei-Chuan’s Langtry Street warehouse and detaining all of its contents.

The violations documented by DSHS inspectors included:

• Rodent droppings in, on and around food products, pallets and floors;

• Product packaging that rodents had gnawed through;

• Gnat-like insects and flies; and

• Open doors, which allowed vermin to access the facility.
